The hunting trail

The tourist product “The hunting trail” corresponds to the conception of the trail named the same way which runs through Euroregionu Śląsk Cieszyński – Těšínské Slezsko and the Pszczyna district. Riding a bike along the trail you visit the most attractive places in Strumień and Chybie – the town and the village of beautiful natural environment and picturesque scenery situated in the region called “Żabi Kraj” (“Frogs’ Country”). Our product is a one-day bike ride with an easy difficulty level.

Program: 

  • Pruchna: Evangelical-Augsburg church dedicated to the Resurrection dating from the end of the 19th century; old distillery; Roman-Catholic church dedicated to St. Anne dating from the latter half of the 19th century; the castle of the Cieszyn Komora (an institution managing linked landed estates owned by the Cieszyn dukes) dating from the latter half of the 19th century; Weserunka’s pound 
  • Drogomyśl: Evangelical-Augsburg church from the latter half of the 18th century; the Kalisz family manor house from the 18th century; fish breeding ponds (19);  the area on the Vistula River
  • Zabłocie: the Myszków Meadows – feeding grounds for water fowl (20) and deer (21); roadside shrines and statues of saints; waterside environment of protected flora and birds’ habitats 
  • Frelichów: stone cross dating from the latter half of the 19th century; chapel from the first half of the 20th century
  • Rykalec: shore of the Goczałkowice lake (22, 23)
  • Zarzecze: forest complexes, chapel
  • Żabiniec: the Zabiniec ponds: Gord, Kasprzyczak, Łąkowy – the sanctuary and breeding grounds for water fowl (24); the oak alley with many impressive old oak-trees; “Bajerki” the nature reserve; forest complex surrounding the Windy Road 
  • Zamachy: hunters’ shooting range together with hunting watchtower; “Rotuz” the peat-bog reserve (25, 26)
